Our very first Wall Street Girls social event went off with a literal bang, taking place just a few short hours after an earthquake shook the streets of Manhattan. But even an unexpected act of nature didn’t stop Wall Street from having a great night. We had a crowd of about 30+ people who came, shook hands, drank drinks, ate eats, talked biz and played nice for a terrific evening of socializing. Our friends from German TV even stopped by again with cameras to interview us and other party goers, and film more segments for their upcoming 9/11 show.

We would like to remind everyone that our events are about remembering what makes our neighborhood special, but we remember those who perished due to 9/11 and we will never ever forget.
To that effect, the Wall Street Girls were interviewed by German News TV today for a special about the 10 year anniversary of 9/11. It was very exciting for us to share our message with people all over the world - we love the Financial District and the people who have worked here and have called this part of Manhattan home, past, present and future.
